SRS has trained, experienced and qualified team members to assist manage the health and safety of workers conducting activities on the facilities of most oil companies.
The Work Place Clearance Group (WPCG) is a joint venture between BP, Caltex and Viva Energy Australia (branded as Shell Retail Service Stations), and these all require maintenance work done on their site to be under the control of a permit issued by an accredited and trained WPCG permit issuer.
We also have trained and competent permit issuers for high risk work such as working at heights, hot work, confined space entry and more. All of these require additional hazard management controls and permits before high risk work can occur anywhere on facilities under the control of these oil companies.
These permits are not able to be provided by the facility staff where the work is done by a contractor, as it’s the obligations of the contractor to ensure they can convince the facility owner of their competency to complete the task safely.
Why don’t you give us a call, or drop us a message to confirm what the requirements are for the activities, and how we can help you accurately quote for and safely conduct work in the vicinity of large volumes of flammable and combustible liquids and gases.
